Thomas is a civil litigator whose practice focus is commercial disputes, power of attorney and estate disputes, real property disputes, and various types of neighbour disputes. However, Thomas is able and willing to provide assistance with any legal issue.
Thomas grew up in Chilliwack. He attended university at the University of the Fraser Valley where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015. Thomas attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan where he earned his Juris Doctor. Thomas joined Baker Newby as an articled student in 2019. He has been practicing law since May 2020.
Thomas resides in Chilliwack with his wife, Lindsay, and their three children. He enjoys spending his summers at Shuswap Lake with his extended family. He also likes cats.
Thomas joined the Board of Directors of the Chilliwack Hospice Society in 2025. The Chilliwack Hospice Society is a community-based organization that helps individuals and families dealing with dying and death through support, education, and programs that promote wellness and healthy grieving.
Thomas also joined the Board of Directors of the Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association (DCBIA) in 2025. The DCBIA works with all levels of government, property owners, and local organizations to help facilitate positive change and provide a collective voice in support of the downtown Chilliwack area. The DCBIA invests in cleanliness and safety initiatives, as well as general promotion of downtown Chilliwack through marketing and special events.
