Amneet Khaira practices in the areas of estate planning and estate administration. Prior to joining Baker Newby, she served as in-house legal counsel for a Crown corporation.
Amneet was born in Vancouver, B.C. and grew up in Surrey, B.C. After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, she completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Birmingham. She continued her education at the University of Washington, where she obtained her Master of Laws. Upon returning to the Lower Mainland, she was called to the bar in 2017. She is a member of the South Asian Bar Association and Estate Planning Council of Abbotsford.
Amneet believes estate planning is essential and is passionate about helping clients make informed decisions about their hard-earned assets, ensuring their wishes for themselves, their property, loved ones and pets are clearly documented. She guides clients through estate administration with clarity and compassion, so they can focus on healing rather than the legal process.
Amneet is fluent in Punjabi.
Amneet moved to the Fraser Valley over a decade ago and has proudly called it home ever since. Outside of the office, Amneet enjoys travelling, exercising, camping, and spending quality time with her husband and three children on their family farm in Abbotsford, B.C.
