Alana is a Paralegal in the Family Law Department providing support to W. Laurence Scott, KC, Cristen L. Gleeson, KC and Nathan Hildebrand in their busy family law practices. She has assisted on wide range of family law matters, including high-conflict divorces, parenting arrangements, mediation, arbitration, parenting coordination and adoption.
Alana joined Baker Newby in August 2019 as a Legal Administrative Assistant after relocating her family to Chilliwack. Having completed her Legal Administrative Assistant program in 2007, she decided to further her education and successfully completed the Paralegal program at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2023.
Outside the office, Alana enjoys keeping up with her husband, two children and their many extracurricular activities. When she can she tries to have a hot cup of coffee or planning the family’s next vacation.
