Martin Finch is married with three children and lives in Chilliwack. He was raised in Vancouver and attended Vancouver College. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Simon Fraser University in 1976 and followed this with a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of British Columbia in 1980

Jordan Forsyth is a solicitor committed to helping a wide range of clients with corporate/commercial law, agreement drafting, property law matters and all kinds of purchases and sales.

Cristen Gleeson was born in Thunder Bay Ontario where she was exposed to the great outdoors of the Northern Ontario wilderness. In early adulthood Ms. Gleeson began fighting forest fires and in that context she became one of the first female leaders of a helicopter attack crew. In addition, Ms. Gleeson was one of the most successful basketball players of her graduating year, leading her to play for the Queen’s University Varsity Women’s Basketball Team for several years during her undergraduate degree.

Adnan Habib is dedicated to resolving construction and complex commercial disputes. These include construction law cases related to bonds, contaminated sites, delay claims, deficiency claims, insurance coverage, liens, leaky buildings and priority disputes. A significant component of Adnan’s practice involves insolvency matters including secured and unsecured realizations, receiverships, foreclosures, CCAA matters, lease defaults, bankruptcy, breach of trust and fraud.

Todd Harvey was born in Vancouver, B.C. and grew up in Tsawwassen, (South Delta), B.C. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in 1996 and received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2001. He articled at a corporate-commercial firm in Vancouver and was called to the Bar in 2002. Mr. Harvey joined Baker Newby LLP in September 2002 and became a partner in January 2006.

Jesse was born in a small farming community in Northern Alberta but grew up in Mission, British Columbia. Upon completion of high school, Jesse started a carpentry apprenticeship and spent many years working with various general contractors in residential and commercial construction. During this time, Jesse completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of the Fraser Valley, majoring in philosophy and minoring in economics. Upon graduation from UFV, Jesse returned to Alberta and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2017.
Jesse completed his articles with Baker Newby LLP and joined them as an associate upon his call in May of 2018. From his time in construction, Jesse has developed a passion for small business development and is excited to incorporate his experience in the construction industry into his legal practice as he joins Baker Newby’s solicitor department.
Outside of the office, you can find Jesse either around a campfire, at the golf course or on the soccer field. When Jesse is not playing soccer himself, he is supporting his favourite team Liverpool FC.
