Leah E. Burry
Leah was born in Langley, but grew up in Cloverdale, BC. After graduating from high school, Leah went on to attend Simon Fraser University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012.
After finishing her undergraduate degree, Leah lived downtown and worked for a number of years at the lululemon athletica corporate office prior to making the decision to pursue a career in law. Leah’s keen interest in travel lead her to attend law school in England, where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of Leicester Faculty of Law and traveled to thirteen different European countries. Leah then returned home to the Fraser Valley where she completed her articling year with a small full service firm in Langley.
Leah joined Baker Newby LLP as an Associate after being called to the bar in June 2017.
In her spare time, Leah can likely be found in (or behind) a boat on Shuswap Lake during the summer months, snowboarding during the winter months and spending time with her family, and beloved bulldog.
