We are currently seeking an Experienced General Solicitors’ Assistant for our Chilliwack office. Preferred candidates will have broad general experience in full-cycle matter management (intake through to billing and closing) in:
– Estate Planning Matters (primary initial focus)
– Commercial Transactions
– Land Transactions
While we appreciate motivated junior applicants, initially only those candidates with 3+ years related experience will be considered for this position..
The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, established writing skills, the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and possess very strong computer skills as we work in an ever-increasing paperless practice.
Our Firm presently uses GoVeyance for conveyance matters, and ALF for corporate matters, and candidates will of course be familiar with LTSA, BC Online, various business searches, and preparing documentation for closings.
