We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for our Corporate Department at our Chilliwack office
Previous Corporate Law experience utilizing ALF would be preferred, but, this may also present a unique and engaging opportunity for administrative staff at Accounting firms, or in the banking sector, with some familiarity of corporate and company processes, or exposure to dividends, bonuses, management fees, and other general corporate transactions.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work with our Corporate team, with a willingness to welcome our firm culture as it relates to a high standard of quality, consistency, and distinction.
Supporting two Paralegals, primary duties will include:
– Processing document requests and mail from clients, accountants, banks and other departments
– Company searches, conflict searches, opening and closing files
– Filing of correspondence, accounts, documents etc.
– Preparing letters, documents and accounts relating to bonuses, dividends, redemptions, incorporations, share transfers, allotments, changes of directors and officers, incorporations, etc.

While we will very much strongly consider all recent graduates of Legal Administrative Assistant programs and Accounting firm staff, those candidates with some experience or exposure to a Corporate Law practice may be preferred for an interview.
