Ambrose Ng was born in Hong Kong, and grew up in Coquitlam, British Columbia.

After completing his B.Sc. at Simon Fraser University, Ambrose worked in the food industry in the field of quality assurance, before beginning his LL.B. at Robson Hall, University of Manitoba. While studying at Robson Hall, Ambrose volunteered for the Legal Aid Clinic and provided legal assistance to the lower income public. He was awarded the Canada Law Book award for top marks in Civil Procedure in 2007.

Ambrose joined Baker Newby LLP as an articling student in the summer of 2009, and plans to become a litigation lawyer.

In his spare time, Ambrose enjoys spending time with his family and friends, camping, and building static and radio controlled models.
