Bowling for Big Brothers - March 2010

March 2010, Baker Newby LLP participated in the Upper Fraser Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters annual Bowl for Kids' Sake Bowl-a-thon. This year's theme was Heroes and Villains. The night was a great success with the Baker Newby staff collectively raising over $1,400 for Upper Fraser Valley Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Mariner's Baseball Game - August 2009
Lawyers, staff, and their families enjoyed a day at the ball park. The chartered bus took us down to Seattle’s Safeco Field to watch the Mariner’s take on the New York Yankees. After consuming garlic fries, hot dogs, peanuts, and pop we made our way to the world famous Round Table Pizza where we enjoyed a pizza feast!
Family Picnic - July 2009
Our annual family picnic was once again held at Maple Bay at Cultus Lake. Lawyers, staff, and their families enjoyed a catered lunch and games for the kids. Activities included a blow-up bouncing castle, face painting, and balloon animals. It was a hot summer day and the lake was the perfect setting for an afternoon of swimming and good food.
Staff Softball Game - August 2008
Lawyers and staff participated in the Baker Newby LLP Annual Partners v. Associates Firm Baseball Game at Fairfield Park on Fairfield Island. The game was close and in the end a tie was called. The sun was out and both spectators and players had an excellent afternoon followed by dinner.
